The Morelense Museum of Contemporary Art Juan Soriano (MMAC) is the new art museum in Cuernavaca. It seeks to contribute to the knowledge and enjoyment of contemporary and modern art, through the preservation, research and exhibition of national and international artistic works. The MMAC Juan Soriano has designed a program of four to six temporary exhibitions per year that, through original and unpublished readings, bring the public closer to different artistic languages.

This museum promotes public participation through programs that generate aesthetic experiences, knowledge and stimulate creative thinking.

The Morelense Museum of Contemporary Art Juan Soriano (MMAC) is a project of the JSa Architecture office by architect Javier Sánchez Corral. Its location links Amatitlán, an emblematic town of Cuernavaca whose origins date back 1500 years, with the Historic Center of Cuernavaca, enriching the urban experience.
